Grow your skills. There are two main skills that make up your skill set. These skills are soft skills and hard skills. Soft skills are transferable to any field no matter the industry. Some examples are motivation, team work, time management, communication, adaptability and creativity. Hard skills are task specific to the industry or field that you are in. In my industry soft skills are only necessary which means that anyone can grow in these skills and they can be transferred to any field. The only requirement, which is beneficial for you to grow your skills is that you be coachable.
Develop. In order for you to get stronger or better in anything you must be committed to develop. To develop, simply means to make progress. It's not about how you start it's about how you finish. I always tell my mentees to start with the end in mind. I believe 90% to 99% of success starts in the spiritual realm. It's not as much about the "how to's" as much as it is about your belief. What are you listening to, who you are listening to, what are you speaking and what you are reading will be key to your development.
Expand beyond your imagination. Can you see your future? Can you see what is in your future? To expand means to make larger. If your goal is to make $500 extra a week, can you see yourself doing the work that it takes to get there? I challenge you see yourself with your mind with where you desire to be and take small steps to get there. Those small steps maybe reading a couple pages of a book, waking up 30 minutes early or going to bed 30 minutes late. Do whatever is necessary for you to thrive. You deserve it.
